This is a community where members can buy and sell with confidence. Tressly provides an online platform where one can find largely discounted new or gently used extensions and products. Tressly also handles the financial transaction and will provide each seller with a pre-paid, pre-addressed shipping label after a sale so customers can buy and sell with ease. We pride ourselves on creating a smooth transaction between buyer and seller and function as the customer support team for your sale. We handle the transaction for you so you don’t have to! Tressly strives to ensure that every purchase is protected on our platform through Tressly Trust. Whenever you purchase an item on Tressly, we don’t release funds to the seller until you confirm that you’ve received your order and approve. Your payment is safe with us! If you receive your order and it doesn’t match the description as advertised, please let us know within 3 days of delivery and we will examine your claim. You can open a claim by contacting support@tressly.com. Once the claim is verified, we’ll refund your payment. This is our Tressly Trust policy. Please note that once funds are released, we consider the sale successful and it is final- there are no refunds after this point. If we don’t hear from you by 3 days of delivery we will assume everything is OK!

We will also send you a prepaid, pre-addressed shipping label for you to return the item to Tressly. The item must be returned within 7 days to be eligible for a refund. Please note that once funds are released, we consider this a successful sale and it is final- there are no refunds after this point. Once you’ve set up your account, to create a listing select “Sell” or “Create a Listing.” On the web you can upload saved photos, or using your phone you can take photos or upload saved photos of the item you are selling. Fill in the required information being as descriptive as possible and making sure the item is within our selling guidelines then you’re all set. Flip that hair!
Trading is allowed; however, there is no way for us to guarantee that both parties will ship the items as agreed and thus it is not covered under Tressly Trust and you will not be protected. We don’t encourage trading, but it isn’t prohibited.
Offline transactions are any transactions made outside of the Tressly platform (PayPal, etc.) and they are NOT allowed. We prohibit offline transactions because Tressly will not be able to guarantee that both parties are transacting fairly. We have no way of processing the payment and tracking shipment. Should anything go wrong, Tressly will not be able to refund the buyer and we also can’t guarantee that the seller will receive their earnings.
Tressly Trust does not cover offline transactions and we ask that our users do not engage in this behavior because it puts our community at risk. If you are approached to make an offline transaction please notify us immediately at support@tressly.com. Members who violate our policy repeatedly will be restricted from buying and selling on the Tressly platform.

Glad you asked! For all sales of $25 and under, Tressly takes a flat commission of $5 and the rest is yours. For sales of above $25 you keep 80% of your sale and Tressly keeps 20%. Once the sale is complete and the buyer has received their purchase and no claim has been filed within 3 days, the earnings from your sale are released to you.
Tressly’s shipping rate is calculated by USPS based on distance and weight. Shipping is paid for by the buyer. Orders are shipped using USPS 2 day Priority Mail.
We allow our sellers up to 7 days to ship their orders; therefore, we ask that you allow 1-2 weeks to receive it.

Any items that do not fall under this category are prohibited and disrupt the marketplace. We only encourage the selling of pre-owned, gently used items as long as they are clean and in good condition. Used hair products, (with the exception of styling tools and accessories) are strictly prohibited. The general rule for gently used hair extensions, wigs and hairpieces: Wash it, blow dry, and then send it (Once it’s dry, of course)! Please accurately describe the condition of the items you list to prevent any delays in receiving funds down the road.
Tressly does not allow the use of brand names to falsely describe or promote an item. This type of behavior violates trademark law and is strongly prohibited on our platform.We reserve the right to remove any item that we feel violates our policies and also to restrict future use of the Tressly platform.
We make buying on Tressly easy! Click the “Buy Now” button on the listing and enter your shipping and billing information on our platform and Stripe. The seller will automatically be notified and will receive a pre-paid, pre-addressed label to ship to you within 7 days. You should receive your order in 1-2 weeks. All buyers are protected by Tressly Trust.
If you’d like to make an offer on an item, please select the “Make Offer” button on the listing and enter the amount. The seller will automatically be notified and will have the opportunity to accept or counter. If the seller accepts, you will be prompted to enter your payment information and the seller will receive a pre-paid, pre-addressed label to ship to you within 7 days. Good luck!
When you sell an item we automatically send you an email with a pre-paid, pre-addressed USPS Priority Mail shipping label attachment so you can ship as soon as possible. Make sure you ship using this shipping label so that the item can be tracked in our system and to prevent any delays in the release of your funds. If our shipping label is not used and a package is lost in transit we can’t compensate or reimburse you because we have no way of tracking the item in our system. However, if you do use our label and your package is lost in transit after having been scanned into the USPS tracking system, you will be covered by Tressly.
When preparing your item for shipping it’s always nice to add a little TLC (tissue paper, ribbon, etc.) If gently used, make sure your item is clean---wash it, blow dry then send it (once it’s dry, of course)! Please do not ship in a flat rate, express mail, or any regional mailbox, as these are not allowed for a USPS Priority Mail shipping label. If you do use a USPS box it must be a regular Priority Mail box. Regular non-USPS boxes work great as well. Congrats on your sale!
Once you’ve shipped your item using the pre-paid, pre-addressed shipping label and the buyer confirms its delivery and no claim has been filed, we release funds to your Stripe account after the 3rd day of delivery.
Typically, all sales on Tressly are final. However, through Tressly Trust we uphold our commitment to ensuring that both buyer and seller have a smooth transaction. In the event that the buyer is not satisfied because they did not receive their purchase or because it does not meet the description, they have the right to open a claim that we will work quickly to resolve. Please note that if the item received accurately matches the description but the buyer simply changes their mind, the buyer’s claim will be rejected. On the other hand, after a claim is opened and Tressly concludes that the item was 1) not accurately described 2) had undisclosed damage 3) was wrong or missing an item or 4) inauthentic, we will assist the buyer in returning the item to the seller and offer them a full refund. If we don’t receive notice of a claim within 3 days after delivery, we will assume everything is OK and release funds to the seller.
In order to avoid any issues with the sale, we encourage buyers to always thoroughly review the listing photos, description and condition. Seller descriptions should be as detailed as possible. Please feel free to ask the seller questions before making a decision. That’s what messaging is for Tressly is a community and we encourage communication between all parties.
